SC fertilizers have extremely smaller size particle than conventional fertilizers and thus it is major invention in agriculture. SC fertilizers are synthesized from water soluble compounds of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium using a chain of Chemical, Physical, Mechanical or Biological process.

SC fertilizers improve uptake of nutrients through root pores as particle size of SC fertilizers less than 30 micron. Hence promote rapid absoption.
