Onions are grown in various climates but thrive best when temperatures are cool during early development and warmer and sunny during maturity.  Onion crops mainly require phosphorus and potassium-rich fertilizers during bulb initiation and development stages.

Fertigation Schedule

Vegetative Stage: (0-30)

Through Drip:

Add NPK 24-10-10+TE
3 kg per acre after 4 days. Repeat 7 times.

Through Spray:

Use NPK Foliar 30-10-10+QPS+TE 
600 grams per 100 litres after 8 to 10 days. Apply once.

Bud Initiation: (31-60)

Through Drip:

Add NPK 15-30-15+2MgO+TE
3 kg per acre after 4 days. Repeat 7 times.

Through Spray:

Use NPK Foliar 10-40-10+QPS+TE 
600 grms per 100 litres after 8 to 10 days. Repeat twice.

Bud Development: (61-75)

Through Drip:

Add NPK 7-11-37+3MgO+TE
3 kg per acre after 4 days. Repeat 5 times.

Through Spray:

Use NPK Foliar 5-10-43+QPS+TE 
600 grams per 100 litres after 8 to 10 days. Repeat twice.

Maturity and Harvesting: (75-90)

Through Drip:

Add NPK 7-11-37+3MgO+TE
3 kg per acre after 4 days. Repeat 4 times.
